Missing my first Crows home Showdown (the things you do for love). Fortunately the footy is on ABC International in Bali. I am watching the Essendon v Sydney game, must be analogue because it looks like a crap game from the 70’s.

Despite our frustration, we have been one of the more consistent teams this year. We started slowly but after the Kangaroos match we have won the games we would expect and lost to Brisbane and Geelong away. Today’s result will depend whether we see the good or the bad Poort Pear.

My greatest regret is missing the debut of number 14. He may be very young and have a schoolboy body but I hear that he has great run and carry!

Pyke is 6-1 vs Ken, he knows how to get us up for the Showdowns. The only loss was because we were 2 players down at half time and even then they only just got the win.

Its really unfortunate that AFL has never been at a professional level in the USA or any other country for that matter.

Imagine how epic those international games would be.

Imagine how little talent we would retain in Australia, as the good players follow the money overseas. We would be bottom-feeders.

I’ve seen maybe 5 port fans here. At there home game it was about 60/40. This is more like 95/5

I was at Showdown One. I have never been more confident of a win in a Big Game (with the possible exception of the 2017 Grand Final).

I am an emotionally shattered man. I will be happy with a one point win.
