Is it time for the Victorian Gaming and Casino Commission to get involved in MRP decisions regarding the tribunal?
Ppl bet on so many aspects of the game from Brownlow, futures and upcoming games that their inconsistent interpretations cost thousands.
I for one think that precedent should count and that a strike should be a week off no matter what the impact.
It might get them professional and consistent!

The VCGLR has been shown to be at best toothless, and at worst, outright corrupt and beholden to industry stakeholders including the AFL.

Internal whistleblowers allege that despite publicly claiming to have investigated the Melbourne tanking affair and other football scandals, the VCGLR in fact did not. It has the AFL’s grubby finger prints all over it.

A finding that Melbourne and / or other clubs sought to lose games - which, let’s face it, they obviously did, and for very good reason - would have dire consequences for the sport’s gambling operations… that’s if we had a functional and effective gambling watchdog.
