Did the dog get sick after eating it?
Ferns aren't great for animals to eat

Chewd it to there was nothing left.

Months back.

It's just staring to come back to life.

I've put them out of harms way.

Edit he didn't get sick .

He prob had he's eyes on the other one .

Have gotten a garden shed for the back yard. Does this need to go on a slab or can i bolt it to pavers on a sand base ?

Slab prob better .

But what ever works for you .

I guess.

Slab no weeks .
No place for spidas to life etc.

But more $$$.

Big garden .
Regular size suburban block, but those last 4 pics were actually taken in what used to be our driveway/under the pergola, in front of the garage! I think I might have gone a bit overboard! 😄

Do they need watering often?
Hell to the yes!

The last few years have taken a toll, so I barely have the time or energy to get out there these days, so most of them have been in those pots for years, and it’s fair to say the potting mix in them has seen better days! Some of those roses were potted about a decade ago.

The ones that are doing the best by far have the roots going through the bottom of the pot and into the cracks/gaps in the concrete below though. That makes an incredible difference.

Have you ever thought about getting rid or selling some pots to make it easier to manage on watering and general upkeep

Tomatoes going well so far, few chili plants dropped off but got about 4 or 5 solid ones flowering away. Herb garden is nuts, I don't tend to use thyme much but I have basically a bush of the stuff.

I'm having to chop back the tomatoes all the time as they grow like weeds. The cucumbers had a slow start but are now going gangbusters.

I've got a thyme bush too. I used it to infuse the oil for Christmas Day roast veg. Rosemary also grows into a bush, is great for roast chicken. I got Thai basil to grow from seed. You can add it to the cheapo supermarket pho noodle and it makes a difference.

As much as I cannot stand the stench..errr, I mean scent, I love Mexican Marigolds.
Yeah they’re pretty awesome, aren’t they! And it’s handy being able to grow an endless number of them from the seeds if you want to.

I picked up a raised garden bed with no legs ...cheap.
Some 50 cent pots to put my catus pups in.

6 pack of catus for 10$.
Big Paddle catus over a metre high for 10$.
Few other things...

I'm gone full crazy .
Running out of space.
I'm moved into the cat incloser to use that space to re-pot and store things.
Lucky we made it huge .
