i just ate this epic food and was thinking about this thread with every bite. it was bloody good too.

At any given moment of any given day, my garlic blood levels are so high I can safely walk through a pack of ravenous vampires unmolested.

All garlic bread comes from God. But like all Heavenly blessings, they can be of varying quality. Roasted garlic is good, so is smashed, so is minced, so is shaved - so is it all. The secret to the best garlic bread is using the best bread...

...and that happens to come from a wood fire oven.

But what have you or not, garlic the butter, butter the bread, toast the whole and strongly consider grating some Parmesan cheese on it while it's still hot.

Edited to Add: This thread gave me a nice errection.

I made two loaves of garlic bread and wrappe them in tinfoil and left them in the fridge.

Now everything in the fridge tastes of garlic. The taste has seeped through.
I have garlic flavoured yoghurt.

Garlic is a powerful substance. Apparently, it's one of the few footstuffs that can be ingested through the skin. Swedish mothers used to put in their kids shoes when they walked to school on freezing mornings as it permeated their skin & kept the blood circulation going in their feet.

Swedish MILFs, hmmm:)

Garlic pizza is incredible - mum makes it.

Think she uses:

Spaghetti sauce that's got garlic in it and she chops up some and sets it as the base. The toppings are onion, prawnm mushroomm chilli and cheese. If anyone can find a healthier and nicer pizza, then I'll be in shock.

Got home from a rather large night to find some left-over garlic bread in the fridge. You know what I did next....

I want to congratulate you for the outstanding quality of your post.

May your garlic culinary fantasies and garlic-related sexual fetishes be fulfilled in the near future good sir.

Bump.

We had a roast the other night and had a shitload of roasted garlic left over (about 4 bulbs). So just now I mashed it all up and mixed it with butter, lemon juice and parsley. Cut a few slices off a crusty italian loaf, smeared with said garlic butter, grilled until crispy and then top with grated parmesan cheese while still hot.

Garlic Bread is quality - even the cheap ones in the supermarket are pretty good.

I am going down to my shack tomorrow for the weekend; need to go food shopping tomorrow morning.

Thank you for bumping this, MattMan93.

When I go camping homebrand garlic bread is a staple drunk food. 3am and into the fire she goes. Just have to make sure to remember to take it out.

Doritos with salsa dumped into the bag may or may not be also staple drunk food*

Wish my house had parsley and italian loafs lying around.

same, it doesn't help that the oven is broken.

Ouch. A microwaved soggy garlic bread is definitely a no go.

I have tried some supermarket garlic breads of late, instead of making myself, and they are getting pretty good. Shouldn't be too long until they catch up to our standards :D

I bought some fresh garlic from a farm in Monbulk a ffew weeks back.

It was so sweet after I roasted it, I knew I needed to make some garlic bread with it. It was bloody delicious, and I didn't even stink for days afterwards :D
