That's a very selective use of stats. You could take Plugger's best 4 years at FF and it would be more impressive. Longevity was the key - he won a brownlow in '87, and 11 years later, he was still kicking the ton.
Yeah - the difference is that these were not his best yrs at full forward, rather these were his only years in that position.
How can people say Ablett was the most gifted player (possibly ever) but then say "btw - i voted locket" ??? If Ablett was the most gifted, doesn't that mean he was the better player? some people confuse me!
