More injury woes for the tigers. It appears Gaspar may need a knee reco after an unfortunate incident in the last quarter. :(

Fiora has injured his ankle, and Johnson is achilles. Bad news, but hopefully these two should be able to recover.

Also, what has happened to Dragicevic? Is he playing for Coburg, or injured again? Haven't heard anything over here.

Kelvin Moore, Adam Pickering or Matthew Shir are the rookies to be looked at. So perhaps Pickering who has more height and weight on him?

G'day guys.

Dont mean to intrude, but firstly i'd like to extend my commiserations at the loss of Gasper. Bloody important player for you blokes and no one likes to see that happen to anyone.

Anyway, i got along to Coburg today for the ressies along with my good mate "The Boy Beav", you know, the peanut who loves the CAPS LOCK button? :D (G'day mate!!)

Its handy going with an opposition supporter as i usually dont even look at the other team when i watch the ressies. Anyway, your boys were pretty competitive for 3 quarters before Port went nuts in the last (final scores Coburg 7.7.49 Port Melbourne 16.12.108), but i had a good look at that Shultz kid you picked up this year.

Bloody big unit that kid!! And from what i have heard he is mainly a forward prospect, but i thought it was noteworthy that he played mainly fullback/CHB today and actually did ok. Spoiled well and provided a contest all day. Moves ok as well and doesnt seem to mind throwing himself into a contest.

Might get an opportunity soon perhaps? I know fullback isntthe type of possie you learn overnight (just look at our boy Shannon Watt - 5 years on the list!), but hemight help cover some gaps for you as Frawley chuffles around your back half.

And Draga did play today. Didn't do a heap but seemed to be moving ok and was typically hard at it. Big fan of that bloke. We all had our hearts in our mouths today when he went down grasping at what looked like his knee and stayed down for a fair while. He got helped off but thankfully he was back on before too long and ran the game out ok.

Good work Carlos!

Don't know what it is with Schulz. From the first time I saw him against the Dees in the Wizard Wok match, it was obvious that he was huge and could also move quite well - not often you can get a player that can do both.

We have been kind of screaming for him to get some game time but the official line from the club (Hutchy) says that he isn't ready yet???

We find this hard to swallow. Unlike almost every other kid we've drafted (Rodan excepted!), the kid didn't come to us built like pretzel!

Maybe we are confusing a 'big' body with a 'hard' one. Maybe the fitness folk want to get rid of some puppy fat first and make him a bit leaner? Who knows?

Now that we are in this situation with Gaspar going down, Spud may bite the bullet and stick him at CHB in the seniors. Maybe this is why you saw him playing in this possie the other day?

All I know is that he represents a better long term option that Royce Vardy who is an honest battler at best!
