The Melbourne V Essendon game had a deplorable crowd at AO with so many empty seats.

I know Essendon supporters hope and pray that they play Melbourne every Gather Round from now on, but the AFL surely scraps this fixture or move it to Norwood.

To have this fixture 3 times in 4 years is bizzare fixturing. Likewise Brisbane and North.

is 38K for a game at 12:45pm on a Saturday afternoon between two struggling teams a deplorable crowd?
