Finally got access to my crows one but can only add 1 to my wallet because both tickets link to the same (add to Apple wallet) ticket. Guess I’ll have to try and ring them tomorrow. So from 3pm today our tickets will be finally unlocked so we can mobile share them or print them off.
When I clicked add to apple wallet. Every ticket added. Not just mine. If you swipe your screen the others are there. I just wanted mine. Not the other 9 who i arranged as i have shared those. Finally got access to my crows one but can only add 1 to my wallet because both tickets link to the same (add to Apple wallet) ticket. Drove over last year from Geelong but sadly couldn't justify the cost this time even for the Thursday game especially as it's costing me 4k to fly back to the UK in June. Hope everyone who's going has a great time.
Going home during school holidays to see family and friends.Surely you are getting paid to go to the UK?

That's their original logo right?
Won 2 flags under that logo
I've been trying to be objective, and think of good reasons why it could / should be done somewhere else, and be as successful, and I can't. I think the AFL have created a monster, if you like - they'd like to share it around, and fair enough, but anywhere else would be a downgrade.Work colleague of mine , big Collingwood supporter, no allegiance or links to Adelaide whatsoever, but he reckons Gather Round should be permanently in Adelaide
Doesn't reckon anywhere else would get behind it in the same way, and Adelaide Oval as the centrepiece is something only pulled off with that spectacle of a stadium
Thought that was a cool neutral opinion

even if Mt Barker has become a bit of a white elephant thanks to the local council). It’s here to stay for the short-medium term.
What's happened with the Mt Barker ground?
Council didn't build it properly and charges a kings ransom to rent itWhat's happened with the Mt Barker ground?
Could be easily fixed with the council making it affordable to use.Council didn't build it properly and charges a kings ransom to rent it
It's Mt Barker Council, hell would have to freeze over first.Could be easily fixed with the council making it affordable to use.
Does the council want to get any value from their asset. It's Mt Barker Council, hell would have to freeze over first.
There's a number of issues with the facility but that's the big one
They're losing 2mil on it every year.Does the council want to get any value from their asset.
Surely the get voted out if they remain stubborn as the local community not getting use of their oval.
So are they just going to let it die? They're losing 2mil on it every year.
In the depths of winter you get some HFL clubs training on it, and Sturt juniors and Women's sides have played a few games while Unley was in cricket mode.
It was designed to not have an anchor tenant, and they thought people would flock to hire such a wonderful facility. Thing is, the facilities (outside of the oval itself) are pretty ordinary.
The oval is magnificent, but the upkeep is well over 6 figures PA
