GAVIN IN TUNE WITH ORCHESTRA

Power champion Gavin Wanganeen will be the guest star with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra this weekend at a special outdoor picnic concert.

The recently crowned 2003 Power Best and Fairest winner will turn his hand to music on Saturday night, and he will be joined by renowned basketballer and dual Olympic medallist, Rachael Sporn to see just who is the best conductor.

It will be a fantastic evening for all the family. In a relaxed atmosphere, people can enjoy a picnic, taste some quality wines, and have a great social outing.

The world class Adelaide Symphony Orchestra will play an entertaining mix of popular classics and will no doubt have some fun with their special guest, while a free children’s craft tent will ensure everyone is entertained.

The concert will be held at Mobara Park at Mawson Lakes this Saturday 15 November beginning at 7.00pm.

A special offer applies for the concert with two tickets available for the price of one. People can simply call Bass on 131 246 and quote ‘Wanganeen’. Tickets are $33 Adult / $23 Concession / Children under 14 Free.

Im sure Gav will put in a great performance, there was a time when some thought Wangas might give up his footy career and be a star on Blue Heelers, thankfully Gav stuck with footy.
