The G went on holiday, and this week you will only be getting the B and the U, who surprisingly will be able to fill in for the spot of the G, so you will still be getting a full length "BU". With a strong contribution from the relatively unknown U.

Smart ass :)

thanks for asking, vick. I haven't exactly been mr consistency lately.

This week, no GBU was forthcoming because A.) the geelong supporter who agreed to write their side of the story seems to have piked after his team lost.
and B.) A combination of horrific flu, and equally horrific uni left me with not a lot of spare time this weekend. Happily, sanity has prevailed and I've withdrawn from a unit, which means I'll have a lot more time to wast-er-spend, on it each week :) Even better yet, I'm going to try and make sure its
done the same day as the game.

I'm also under a stressful time at uni currently.

I'm enrolled for two units, one unit has been horrible, I've had one mid-semester test for the whole unit!

The other unit is abhorrent!! I've had to do two whole essays!!

But in all seriousness, I still hate it. I'm gonna take next semester off and see if I can get back into it next year with a bit more desire to do it.

Have you been able to find employment yet?

If so, what did you end up doing, and which course did you do?

I officially hate you. ;)

5 units. 8am starts every day except Monday. 5 or 6pm finishes every day. No time to study because they keep giving me assignments. :( Yes, direct sympathy here please. I hate uni, but have stuffed around with it so much already, i'm determind to finish the bloody thing. Besides, my HECS (or HEX as I saw it written on the general board... very fitting) is big enough thanks Mr Costello.

Mind you, there could be better ways to fill in my spare time than Bigfooty, the Eagles, footy in general and making stupid badly animated cartoons. Nah...

well, i graduated, then realised how much I loved the lifestyle, and decided to head off to do my masters, so as of this August, I'll be studying in the US. Which in a way is awesome, but i'll miss our GF triumph.

Uni

Thrawn, My son is in his last year of a Commerce Degree in marketing and property. My daughter finished her Psychology Degree last year but has gone back this year to do Honours.

I sympathise with all you at uni - it is not the easy life that some people imagine - what with uni and part-time work. I am very proud of both my kids - they are both very hard workers and the loves of my life!

Well i am very much enjoying my first year at uni. Apart from 1 unit i am doing which is overly easy9as i basically did it in year 11) the other 3 are very interesting and not too hard too fathom, plus i play tennis, get fit running and do weights each week all as part of my course. Ahhh the life:)

Ah uni - love to hate it!

After a 4 month summer holiday break, I was actually looking forward to going back. Now, I'm counting down the days to the winter break because it means snow!

And vicki, I'd also like your daughters phone number so we can discuss err... David Haynes!
