Hounslow get sacked from west?
Looks like he "stood down", Assistant coach taking over or maybe Washington and crew to head back?
GEELONG West president Simon Cavallo is confident the club’s build-up to season 2016 won’t be hampered by Mark Hounslow’s decision to step down as coach.
Hounslow, who had been in the top job at Bakers Oval for just one season, informed the club he would be vacating the role for work reasons last week.
“He got back to work this year and found out they got a big contract,” Cavallo told K rock Football.com.au.
“From the get-go, he’s said that work, family and studies come first, so obviously that’s applied to him as well.
“He runs his own business. It’s quite an understandable situation to have to focus on work.”
Hounslow has been replaced by assistant coach Andrew Clark.
