I'm typing this slowly so maybe you can follow it this time:

2010: Collingwood win the flag

2011-2018: Collingwood don't win the flag (NB: that's 8 years)

2018: Collingwood fans celebrate Premiership in June

This logically begs the question When are the Pies going to win their next flag after losing 12 Grand Finals in 14 appearances in the last 60 years?

This isn't something I just made up, it's been a point of discussion for some time:

Unless you can win more than 1 final in a row, nothing will change this year. That's just a fact, try not to get so offended about it. Good luck

Oh, you are such a dumbass if you think those numbers pass for any sort of meaningful analysis. Go back to school and learn basic maths.

How much time did you waste on this, feeling smart - only to find out it is completely worthless? Ouch, probably a couple of days judging by the quality of your other posts.

You are not comparing like for like, it's just picking some useful time periods to fit your argument.

Fact check verdict: none found
Hows these numbers

Collingwood has played in 14 Grand Finals in the last 60 years and lost 12 of them
Collingwood have straight setted from Finals in the last 60 years 9 times
Collingwood has a finals winning finals percentage in the last 60 years of 35%.

This idiot isnt even a troll... hes a numpty.

This is one of the all time great melts
Stat melts are always the most entertaining. :)

Stat melts that are based on a 7 year window to judge the fortunes of a 160 year old club are priceless. :tearsofjoy:

2011: Geelong win the flag

2012-2018: Geelong don't win the flag (NB: that's 7 years)

2019: Cats fans celebrate in June

This logically begs the question When are the Cats going to win their next flag and finally hit double figures after 122 years? Which in turn prompts people to look at the intervening years since their last flag and examine your finals performance which at 3-9 with an average losing margin of 5 goals is found wanting

This isn't something I just made up to ruin your June GF parade. It's been a point of discussion for some time:

Haha two players, neither who tested positive while playing, plus a guy who was never involved with the club. Versus 3 who all tested positive.

All these spreadsheets and you're still basing Chris Scott's finals record on 7/8ths of his career.

Geeez, the Catters have really done a number on you, haven't they?

Nice one, Excel.
