Pretty similar to most I'd suspect, see a few big up Henry so I may have someone to keep an eye on at the VFL now.

On Duncan, do you see him being traded by the club or being willing to move?
New contract and a baby on the way.

Henry, in the game against the Hawks, just showed a few glimpses that impressed me. One particular play when he stormed through the centre to grab a contested footy particularly stood out. Very raw, but definitely something to work with.

With regard to Duncan, I was trying to think of who would be a reasonable, and possibly realistic and worthwhile trade target. Clearly Selwood, Danger and Hawkins ain't going anywhere. Motlop got no interest and IF he was up again would get even less. That doesn't leave too many other options. I Duncan would go but funnier things have happened.

Overall though, there should still be enough talent to win 12-13 games at least. I hope.

The fragility of the overall team - particularly the forward line - is worth mentioning. We are so dependent on having Hawkins, Selwood, Dangerfield, Henderson, and Lonergan stay fit. Things could get very interesting without them.

Menzel is the key to our forward line- he is both brilliant and fragile

Yes, with a new two-year extension to boot.

Depends what you mean. Will he kick 40+ goals? Absolutely not. But he will give Hawkins more one-on-one contests which in turn helps the likes of Menzel and McCarthy at ground level. That said, I expect Taylor to swing back numerous times during the year.

- What will the Ruck setup be?
Round one should be Stanley and Blicavs. Smith has played himself out of a spot with a fairly poor JLT series. By the midway point of the season and beyond, however, I expect it to be Smith and Stanley as per last year.

- Which player (anyone) will surprise us most?
That Dangerfield fellow is pretty good, I hear....

Meh, not great. Expected us to finish 5th-8th. Most improved probably Jed Bews. While Zuthrie showed good signs, in terms of who showed the best signs it would either be Stewart/Parfitt. At times the Taylor up forward experiment worked, overall probably not though. Ruck setup changed a bit, Buzza had a go at times too. Menegola didn't really surprise at all compared to guys like Bews, Stewart, Duncan.
