Time to point the gun. This has been a problem for too long, Duncan, Motlop, Caddy even Guthrie. These guys are the most inconsistent tier of mids in any team. I cant watch it anymore, i left the game at half time. Deplorable.

I honestly feel bad for Danger, Selwood and Enright. The first two played their arses off and Enright being the way he was after the siren has obviously played his last game. feelsbadman.jpg

oh and shutup about the rebuilding shit, you have an older list than us
Geelong and Hawthorn's average list ages were 24 years and 3 months apiece at the beginning of the year. Hawthorn used the year to rebuild though, while Geelong really needed to win a flag to justify throwing away all their top draft picks.

Once again...
Motlop, Caddy don't perform when we need them in the biggest games.
Mackie not only shits himself in the back line but somehow manages to seem disinterested at the same time for the last 4 final series.
Chris Scott goes Crazy Vossy again in the most important games of the year.
Not to mention the same old thing of not being able to get the team up after a week off or being able to stop a serious run of momentum.
Hope you people realise nothing will ever change with these same people, I just hope our strength of denial can go to a new level

If both clubs have lists that are the same age and one resigns all their old veterans then that club isn't rebuilding. By definition rebuilding would be replacing old parts, not using them as foundations. Silly top bloke

Rebuilding means gradually transferring responsibility from senior to younger players, and Hawthorn's rebuild this year, with 7 debutantes, is a step towards that.

Geelong on the other hand gained nothing from this season. They learned that Dangerfield can play, and that's about it.

Give it a week and that's what our average age will be again...

Gained nothing? Getting games into guys like Menegola, McCarthy, Kolodjashnij, Ruggles, Cowan, Cockatoo, Lang, Menzel and Bews is something. Guthrie has stepped up too. The only thing that worries me is our defence for obvious reasons, Bartel is replaced by Menzel in tonights team. Lonergan, Enright and Mackie are replaced by Ruggles, Lang and who the **** knows else.
