It's sad how desperate they are to discredit the VFA flags. I don't know why they keep bringing them up when it's something we have a clear 7-0 lead in. :$
No one from our side dispute the VFA flags. But this is an AFL forum.

If you want to willy wave about VFA flags go to the VFA/VFL board.

As for your comment about early VFL being worse/on par with the VFA - that's just laughable. All the big clubs left to form the VFL - hence why it took you 28 years to win a flag.

Exactly. All the VFL teams had competed in the VFA. We won VFA flags against future VFL teams.

This subject is really boring, but can I ask you one question.. Do you think the VFA (or VFL for that matter) was the best football completion in Australia before the AFL was formed?
Yep, I'm sensing you all want a change of subject so I'll make it quick and we can get to Vickery promptly.

Well, who knows. Perhaps the standard has always been higher in SA? But the VFA certainly has the most relevance to the competition we currently follow. :thumbsu:

I only asked if you thought it was the best competition.. SA you reckon was better comp (and I reckon WA would have been better at stages as well) so why so proud of flags won in a second or third rate comp????

I didn't say it was a better comp, but if it was I think the difference would have been marginal.

There are no other teams
It's only Hawks supporters trying hard to argue against something no one is saying, nor cares about except them.

They really are pumped about the bush Flags these Handbaggers.

It really is embarrassing.

You can have him for pick88? Or a direct swap for Michell depending how you look at it.
Speaks volumes that we rather swap Mitchell for pick 88 than entertain recruiting Smedts.

Don't know why you're trying to deflect on behalf of Squarkbot.

Anyway, we actually did trade him (#F.R.FAIL). Bad call to do so from my perspective.
Hard to trade a bloke when everyone knows he's a potato.

Having him in your username is quite funny though. What does the '2' represent? The number of games he played last season or his average hard ball gets a game?

Do you still use the phrase "straight setters"? Just I recall that was a big thing for you a couple of years back.
lol, 6 pages of TazHawk15 using the term straight setter, but weirdly enough he has dropped that one like a Ishank Smiss ball drop when it matters
