There is not one team that goes through a season without a season ending injury to a player.
I want Roughie to make it back as much as anyone but sorry he has been out all year and won't be back this year. Other than Sicily you were full strength. Hardly undermined.
Over the last 3 years the Hawks have had a charmed run with injury. Now you want to use it as an excuse.
Even if Roughit played who says he would have made a difference. Has been well held in most of our clashes. Might have also made your forward line too one dimensional.

Hawthorn literally had their best 22 available minus Roughead who hasn't played a game all season.
Geelong was without Thurlow (again hasn't played all season) but also Henderson and Gregson
Anyway, I'm happy to take you up on that bet. Swans to beat Cats by 6+ goals in the prelim. If the Swans either don't make the prelim, lose the prelim or win by less than 6 goals I've got your sig and av until the end of the season (6pm Grand Final day), otherwise you've got mine until the same time.

I think the GWS win was bad for both Hawthorn and Geelong, I think the Hawks match up better against Sydney and vice-versa for Geelong.

No chance the Swans beat Geelong by 6 goals at the MCG. Don't know how long Tippett is out for and Mills, if those 2 don't play the game may swing in Geelong favour. Sydney will struggle against Adelaide and if they do make the Prelim I predict the result to be under 10 points.
