Ours ended with the best dynasty the league has seen... You're merely attempting to take over that mantle in 2016.

Best of luck.:thumbsu:

So yeah...pound for pound the most successful club in the league. In fact you have to go back to 1914 (11 years before the Hawks were asked to join the VFL / AFL) to find a club (any club) that matches 13 flags - all since the challenge system was abolished

There's only one stat that matters to me in this sport Hawkk - Premierships won during my lifetime.

Hawthorn - 11
Carlton - 6
Essendon - 4
Geelong - 3

I know, its been pretty tough going. Thankfully the last three years have been bearable.
I agree, the 3peat is bearable, just.

Watching the hawfs 4peat and become the GOAT would've done my head in so I really can't thank the Swans enough for that pre-emptive panadol.

I'm guessing you weren't thanking them quite as much after this famous game

I certainly would have if it had of mattered but it didn't so -

The shame of being belted by 110 points doesn't bother you? Pity all the Pufferfish here can't embrace that attitude!

Hey at least you had revenge on the Swans next time you played them up in Sydney. That must've felt terrific. :)

Clearly the tie breaker was 2008. Cats win that and this era would have been theirs.
Agreed they very likely would have gone on to win a 3Peat. Instead they were left with an era lacking any B2B success.
Official AFL era Dynasty rankings below.
1st: Hawks
2nd: Lions
3rd: Adelaide
Last: Geelong
