3 recent flags but the Cats are nearly as broke as Brisbane. Why?

Rioli didn't even get him high. There's fines for legal bumps now :drunk:
Cyril bump looked 50/50, probably did make some high contact but I'm happy with no suspension, the fine was given as a smoke screen, if they didn't penalise both Cyril and Mitchell the biased Hawthorn driven MRP would have come under greater scrutiny.
Smart move.

The Mitchell one is the killer, calling it a pushing motion and not a strike is a beauty. Obviously if it was ruled a strike, even with an open hand there would be a suspension. Crafty, very crafty.

The MRP reverse engineered the result a treat, but they must think the public are stupid if they thought we'd fall for it.

I wouldn't start talking about midfields and batting deep, Hawthorn have the least worrisome of all finals sides.

You're playing that grub Langford ffs.
Last time I checked Langford has a better record of delivering in finals than spuds like Murdoch, Guthrie, Duncan & Blicavs.

Our midfield has destroyed all in the last three September campaigns. I'll back them to get it done again #whenitmatters. As for the Handbaggers, shitting the bed when it matters most is your club's MO. Enjoy working your arses off for that coveted top 4 spot just so you can 'win' another straight sets exit. :$

Maybe I'm weird but if that was two Cats players I wouldn't have wanted them suspended.

Cyril's bump was perfect and the fine is a joke.

Mitchell had low impact so he should have got whatever that means. A fine maybe ...

His bump was low and had no intent to hit the head even though morons here are saying he grazed his chin. He didn't touch his head. If that was my most hated player (Goddard) I still would say the same thing.
His bump was actually classified high. Now the rule clearly states that if you run past the ball and elect to bump and make high contact you're in trouble.

Why it was only a fine you work out... I know the answer, as does Brian Taylor when he alluded to the reason after Majak Daw was given longer than anyone else to kick the ball.

As for Rioli it should have been 2 weeks down to 1 with an early plea.

I think if they rules Cyril's bump legal, then why fine him? Makes no sense to me

I'm surprised by Mitchell not getting a week, just because of some of the preceding incidents so far this year that would have been very similar in force/intent (Hawkins - Davis)

So if you lose another game, miss the top 4 and subsequently bow out of the finals as a result, does that round 1 loss still not matter?

Rubbish he hit him in the chest
The guy dropped the ball, if he tackled him it was holding the man, so he bumped him.
The fine was stupid and irrational

Lol. What an absolute load of bullshit you just posted.

He ran straight past the ball and elected to bump like the coward he is.

Coward!

Both him and his old man are as tough as they get.

You're being a dick.
Rioli tough? Almost as golden being declared by many the best player in the league.

I've seen an awful lot of footy since 1980 and him and Dane Swan are without peer as the most overrated.

Rioli has talent to burn but he simply doesn't do it often enough or consistently enough to be classified elite.

Watch as he gains his 3rd undeserved All-Australian off the back of hype.

And no, he isn't tough he's a sniping coward like your captain and best player.

Yes he did run past the ball and elected to bump because the guy fumbled watch the video again.
Sorry mate but you can interpret things however you wish, but I know what I seen. The letter of the law agreed a suspension sufficed, the colour of his skin didn't.
