Are the streams that this gives access to any good? Viable (quality/streaming strength wise) to hook up your tablet/phone/whatever to your TV and be able to watch those games that aren't televised on FTA?

So because it's an App, it says you can stream direct to your tablet/phone. Wonder if you could somehow choose a laptop/computer as your preferred choice instead?

Not a fan of streaming on my phone and being charged 8 billion dollars data usage each time I have no free wifi.

Alfy. I think they are 80%. sometimes 95% of the quality of channel 7.
It depends on your luck. or connection

I assume it's the same as the AFL Live thing, which is limited to phones/tablets because that's considered a different market to what Foxtel covers and Foxtel wouldn't want them stealing potential subscribers by offering a full-fledged online delivery platform. Also, you can't use wi-fi. There are ways to connect your tablet or phone to your TV/monitor, though.

I dont understand why anyone would buy the international membership when the digital membership is the same thing.
Unless the block you if you are OS with the digital package and people don't know how to get around it.

I don't know what he is talking about.

When I use this service this is my setup.
Stream to iPad using wifi.
Mirror to apple tv.

And bingo!

Exactly the same as me. Works great. Really good picture, occasionally goes a little fuzzy for a second or 2, but excellent quality stream IMO.

I imagine that you would be able to use chromecast on the pc/laptop to stream to tv, similar to the appletv but cheaper.

or even an iPhone and apple tv.

Spot on YPO.
I may be living overseas next season and there's no way I would watch it on my phone.

If you are OS (outside OZ and NZ) there is an option that allows you to watch on laptop, tablet or phone. Costs about 140 USD per season for EVERY AFL game live includes all finals. Not a bad deal. And you can stream it to your laptop, run TV as external monitor and it goes fine.

The digital membership email I got linked me back the normal OS AFL live option I have always had .. so it would only work with VPN I feel.
