With the Metrop form being so strong and having drawn a nice barrier I will be on Vanquished. Looks a better proposition than any horses coming out of the Winning Edge.

Odds:

$5, Dracs Back
$5.50, Professional Lady, Vanquished
$7.50 On A Jeune
$10 Kerry O'Reilly
$11 Siamun
$11 Magic Instinct
$12 Pentane
$16+ Others

Go Siamun!!! Got stitched up by the barrier draw again though
If it's anything like last year than swoopers like siamun are right in the hunt. It's a very open affair but $11 looks pretty juicy if you like him

One thing I can tell you is that from barrier 4, Cefalu will ensure a solidly run race as it has taken vast improvement from his last start 4th.

Keep an eye on the Saab Quality for this bloke though.

Magic Instinct is definitley not going to run, problem is, he is only an outside chance of getting a run in the MV Cup.

Some of the horses in front of him in the order of entry makes you think, for example... Lord Erin, Don Raphael, Bugatti Royale.

Seriously, I'll be devastated if he doesnt sneak into the field because his formlines are good enough to be a serious Flemington carnival contender.

I gave you all the $205 quinella in the Caulfield Cup (boxing 5 horses @ $10)

Now it's time for Geelong Cup tips.

Box Quinellas,

6. Pentane
8. Diamond Jake
10. Exalted Time
14. Dracs Back
16. Siamen

if you want to go further include 1.Kerry O'Rielly, 5.Vanquished, 11.Professional Lady and 15.Mandela in the tri's.

For $10 some of these Quinellas will be huge if they get up... get on! :)
..and a small % tri just in case...

Disclaimer : Due for a loss :D

Good luck :thumbsu:

Dracs Back is in decent form at the moment and can turn in a blinder at its absolute best.
On a Juene will be an interesting run. Geelong cup has sometimes been a bit of a form guide for the cup.

Go Drac

vanquished came 3rd behind tawqeet and activation in the metrop and the metrop form played a massive part in the caufield cup with tawqeet winning and activation unlucky not to have won or come second so going by that i like vanquished. should get good run from barrier 6 has childs on board and ran over the 2400 last start.
my roughie was going to be cefalu but thought it would be paying more than the 16 its showing at the minute. lead for a long way last start, trained by freedman and should run well.
anyways good luck to everyone and on my present punting form i wouldnt back those two horses if my money is on them.

Well done Pantsless :thumbsu: Your shout.

Mandela was very juicy odds by race start. Almost tempted me
but can't back them all.

I took back up quinellas with the 1,5,11,15. But left out the 5. Faaarrkkk. Payed $80 too.
