Murdoch has turned from a softy to a kamikaze pilot and genuine bruiser. What a surprising joy it's been to watch.

Great performance. When we take the game on, apply pressure and win contested footy at the source we are a very tough proposition. The challenge remains to come out as the hunter rather than the hunted during finals. It's been a bloody good response during a difficult part of the year, and our season has gone from being on life support to anything's possible.

The delivery in the forward line and movement of the forwards up and down the ground, leading patterns etc was as good as it's been in a long time. That's the approach we need to make sure games don't turn out like the 2016 PF.
