Chris Scott has backed the right of the AFL to schedule his side's home finals at the MCG

On Wednesday, the AFL ended any prospect of Geelong's matches taking place on its home deck.

AFL fixtures chief Travis Auld told News Corp maximising attendances would be the centrepiece of the finals fixture, meaning the 100,000-capacity MCG would be Victoria's finals venue ahead of GMHBA Stadium or Marvel Stadium.

What's funny is all the Geelong posters on this board who've waffled on about how 'uncle Steve' was going to get them Cheat Ground final, as if the AFL would ever turn its back on the millions more it'd make playing a final at the MCG instead.

Id say its looking like we'll be playing Collingwood in the QF, and they are shot. Good times!
