Well that's the thing about GFs everyone wants to go!! (And i honestly dont mean to sound patronising there)

If you really want to go, I would suggest (next year) buying a Melb membership + a September membership which gives you a ticket to the GF should Geelong make it.

I've never bought one of them myself, so dont know the exact details or prices. I'm happy with the ballot, if i miss out so be it.

To be honest, i'd probably prefer to pay the exorbitant price for a grand final package or what not as opposed to paying for a full membership. The tightass in me kicks in too much each week as I miss the games I can't attend (pretty much all of them). In saying that, I don't mind taking a hit for the club haha, recently made the $100 donation or what not for the 'Our Ambition' promotion/ drive. Thanks for the info.. will have to weigh up my options.. and most likely tell the significant other to get stuffed if i do go haha.

Hmmm i'd just do my research into it all. A membership/s would probably be cheaper than the GF packages. They are like several thousand...

I won't be leaving it as late tomorrow night to get into the ground even if the crowd is down a bit from our first final.

I am stubborn and do not learn from experience...will get there around 7.40 and chance the crowd.

Be prepared also for the crowd exiting the game. Granted Hawks final was probably over 10 thousand more than tomorrow night, but I was shocked at how packed the bridge over to Fed Square was.

Definitely walk the street way rather than the Fed Square way if you can avoid it.
