Dogs play all their home finals at the MCG. Shouldn’t be any different for the Cats.
But don’t you wish it was different? Bulldogs play so much better there then the MCG. This applies to all teams who have a preference, not just Geelong.

Collingwood also had it because they were playing at their home ground. How does that work if Richmond had the advantage? You had it you were playing at your home ground. Geelong isn't able to play the final at their home ground which is Kardinia.
LULZ you get the right to play it at your nominated home ground which is the MCG. It has already been explained to Richmond supporters time and time again. Breaking news: Geelong train at their home ground in Geelong.
Well, if we are advantaged by playing on our home ground, that surely means Geelong is disadvantaged every time it plays away from K.Park. That’s 14 times a year we are at a disadvantage. More than anyone else. For example, your club plays 13 times a year on its home ground. So you are only disadvantaged 10 times. That’s a 4 game differential isn’t it. Lucky you.None of the 17 other clubs get to play any games at their training ground.
Therefore the 17 other clubs are at a disadvantage.

What if Footscray finished top and Collingwood finished 4th. And the first final is Footscray v pies at the MCG. ( 2 games v 14 games at the venue this year, and repeated in 2018, 17...that is 42 v 6 games in the last 3 years.)
