Ablett has missed 5 games (6?) and I do not see him winning the MVP or Brownlow.

Maybe the players vote without knowing who gets nominated, and if your club didn't nominate you, and you win...then bad luck.

Maybe nominations have no effect whatsoever on who you can vote for.... it just a big scam
