Your club is ahead of us and has beaten us in our last two games. We arent even top 4. If we are cheating the cap then how much are you cheating the cap?

A lot

Serious question I’ve always wondered and this is as good a time as any to ask - do you manually type go catters out on every post or is it automated?

Tom Harley to AFL rort, it never ends. How can anyone enjoy supporting a rorting club?

You spent, presumably, a lot of your pre-2017 life supporting a team that won about as regularly as the Zimbabwe cricket side, and somehow managed.

It’s a lot easier when you are actually decent.

By the way, you know we didn’t actually appoint him, and he hasn’t been with Geelong since before anyone at Geelong now was there, aside from our current recruitment manager? So what have we rorted now? Isn’t it the Swans who are guilty of this one? What about the Lions who have also been on the gravy train this week?

Player makes “joke” about taking drugs… have dinner.
Coach “incites riot” by pretending to be a plane … $20k fine.
Seems about right.
he was clearly mocking the victims of 9/11 #DoBetter

AFL rort it for the cats to rort it this is the thing.
AFL would love to gift them a flag 2025 and give Scott one more flag on his way out the door mark my words.
Methinks 2026 the cliff is then all theirs.
But 2025 is its last shot at the flag and the AFL will make sure they win one for good measure.
With Pies i think they can go again 2026 they have a great system and process.
cats will be handed one more this year as said just for good measure and piss off the rest of the comp along with it.

thing is they dont have a hell of alot of supporters or members at all.
always seam to have empty seats at gmhba and was at pies cats game mcg i had to look hard to see any fans that werent in the cheer squad behind the goals.
they dont have much of a following outside geelong either.
kind of the gmhba looking like a waste of a venue.
why bother with the place
offers nothing anyway
tax paid dont forget

Uhh, you'll be disappointed when you work out that Harley's gone to head office for the same reason Swann did, and it isn't to help Geelong get a leg up...

Oh for goodness sake take the hat off.

league boss tells one of competition’s most marketable players to pull his head in and be careful.
You don't think having the League CEO drive to a player's house to discuss his behaviour and 'marketability' is a bit weird?

Isn't that what he has a manager and coach are for?

A lot of other 'marketable' players will be expecting a home visit from Dillon, based on this.

He'll be a busy boy!

Said player plays for the most powerful club in the league, said coach coaches a filler farm team. That's just the way it is

Do you think he discussed his marketability?

Or the fact that he sailed close to the wind with his retort to the troll on Instagram?

Again.

‘Bailey, you are a big name in our sport, pull your head in and don’t f**k it up for yourself because we will have to start doling out punishments for that sort of shit if it becomes a regular occurrence.’

Holy shit is there anything that DOESN’T cause a meltdown across the broad supporter base of the league now?

If it’s not an academy issue it’s a MRO issue or a priority draft request issue or a ‘who’s rebuild is further ahead’ issue or a ‘who gets favoured by the umpires more’ issue or a ‘who is allowed to cheat the cap’ issue or a ‘who is getting an easy draw’ issue or a ‘you are luckier because of geography’ issue.

Harden the f**k up.

Why would the league CEO drive to a player's house to discuss this?

I don't recall Demetriou paying a visit to Cousins, or Gill paying house visits to Hawks players after the injunction.

Very eyebrow raising for the league CEO to personally visit a player at their house to discuss a post on social media.
