If its a minor breach why has it taken months? Why not just announce the $10,000 fine and the $50,000 suspended fine?

That was so sweet I almost want to go back and change the 2009 GF result for you.If I was an AFL player, I know that I wouldn't just take a pay cut to play for the almighty Geelong Cats, I would actually pay the club money for the privilege. Hoping to hear back soon on my application to make GMHBA the 8th wonder of the world.
Probably waiting for the AFLW season to start. 'Geelong AFLW player given access to company car for a weekend cruise around the Surf Coast' will get fans of the women's comp clicking no doubt! If its a minor breach why has it taken months? Keep afloat he says, as a club that was borne out of the Ashes of the bears and Fitzroy.Check your notes again, as we use it as a thread to mock crybabies. It serves it's purpose. You can't stay away.

Inside Geelong Cats player Rhys Stanley’s luxe Surf Coast farmhouse - realestate.com.au
The sprawling European style country home that took almost three years to build was worth the wait for the ruckman’s young family.www.realestate.com.au
Beautiful home for a beautiful man.
Even our fringe players are getting on that sweet sweet moolah luxury pad action. So you can just imagine the type of ostentatious perks players like Paddy and Jezza would be pampered with. I totally get why non Geelong fans are up in arms about this, it does arouse a bit of suspicion doesn't it? Geelong should really advice players not flaunt their hmmm Geelong exclusive perks to all and sundry.Shame they photoshopped out all the Cotton On pictures. Just be true to yourself Reece.
Only the best for our Premiership ruckman Rhys.![]()

Rhys Stanley.Who builds a beige house?
It'll win more awards than your obsessed whinging Geelong posts. That monstrosity isn’t winning any awards any time soon. Whatever was paid for that is the real rort.
They had some foundational concepts but it all got blurred into a mess of contradictions both inside and out. That kitchen is god awful.
That builder rorted the cats/rhys/whichever sponsor paid for it.
4 flags won on Collingwood's home ground (each disposing of Magpies in finals along the way) since 2007 is as good as it gets, yep. We aren't greedy. That's a stronger era than Collingwood has managed in your lifetime, despite having almost all of their finals at home.I dont mind it, it's an old man rule. "I outsmarted you mate, now give us a sec, hold still while I get a little moment to run around you".
Plus it's there to correct other stupid rule changes.
The AFL shortened the marking players time to help Sydney's ugly swamp gameplan back in the 2000s , they cant admit that was wrong ("hurry up, turn it over so Bloods Culture™ can win
something), but this makes Ross Lyon ****ball viable, so we get !achtung! Stand! and "the protected zone" and 666 to to fix the fix.
Players have adjusted by making their own marks 10 metres back. All this rule does is makes sure one of now 4 umps has to worry about a nest of pointless subrules that lead to occasion lottery like 50 m penalties, so they don't see old rule violations like holding off the ball, chopping arms, blocking (we're the best, real old man footy from us) etc etc.
Geelong aren't rorting more than anyone else these days. 2 flags from the best Cats coach ever is as good as it gets for them, and the Scott flags were both Dank-free. It's an epic era for a mediocre club and should be celebrated.
I would be happy to see one Dockers men's flag in my lifetimeI wish I could get involved in the dick measuring competition about the number of flags we’ve won in the last 15 years.
Interesting article here about the contentious Hocking rule which a lot of good judges are saying is a rort.
"The stand rule had its shot, and it missed. It's time for the AFL to ditch it.
It’s a rule that freezes defenders in place and penalises them for doing what they’re literally paid to do: apply pressure. It’s a rule that punishes effort and awareness."
