What rule change are Geelong going to bring in to stop Brisbane ?
Not exactly a rule, but a set in stone policy signed off by the AFL that every potential Cats recruit gets a $1m block of land at Torquay "sold" to them for $1, plus 2 new cars from Ford at $1 per week lease.

EDIT - oh wait, they do that already......

Geelong were every bit the bottom 4 side their supporters claim they would be if Chris Scott wasn’t the coach yesterday.

But all joking aside, Brisbane are scary when they are at their best.

Can we look into Brisbane rorts now?
QLD academies are there to develop the game.

A point I would argue is with so many from Melbourne relocating to QLD over the past 5 or so years, that should naturally increase junior participation rates up there.

So, maybe the academy needs to be revised further.

You can see the moment when the handbsgger supporters got humbled
Did they cowardly abandong their club like it was Corey Enright's 300th or the 2017 QF against Richmond?

See this is why the AFL need to keep Geelong artificially competitive. They've got the most spineless supporters in the country and if they became uncompetitive for more that a couple of years in a row, they'd have no supporters left and the club would have to fold.

I'm not sure why this shouldn't happen (imo, the kindest option for this grubby little club is euthanasia), but I think it's got something to do with Victorian politics and Geelong being a marginal seat.
