I'm guessing Hocking, Scott et al will be mad at the AFL for having the temerity to fine Geelong based on an external audit, rather than cancelling said audit and allowing the club to conduct its own internal investigation, like it did with the shenanigans around Mad Monday.

The AFLW diversion worked a treat - from the sounds of things they didn't even touch on the farmland. Best the club lay low for a year or two and then business as usual can resume. We've still got the VFL diversion tactic to pull next time they investigate us in a decade too.
