Did we really beat Hawthorn today?
Not bad with Scotty halfway through a shift at Morris
Most exec salaries are public. What right do you have to their salaries?
Should they be able to compel you to divulge your salary?
To be blunt, none of them are public servants on taxpayers money so we have no right to that information. Rightly the AFLPA will guard that vigorously.

Geelong CEO “really happy” with the outcome of AFL probe into Scott’s club sponsor role

I looked up RUNVS and nothing came up in the NSW PS.I am a NSW government employee. My salary is free for anyone to look up at any time.
Are you serious? AFL footballers are not senior executives. Is it not enough that we know (a) the total value of a Club's salary cap, (b) salary bands and numbers of players in each band? What business is it if Player X is on $425,000 and Player Y is only on $350K? So Player X's manager negotiated a slightly better deal. Individual salaries are private and confidential. The club's total spend is not. Most exec salaries are public.
The reason being that it is considered relevant information to shareholders and/or members.
The AFL isn't any different. I think there's absolutely a case that members of footy clubs should know the salaries of players.
Coaching flags are offering financial advice to clients all at the same time - that's our Scotty!Bomber Thompson ate sandwiches during matches. Chris Scott is doing deals for his second job on his laptop in the coaches box while a match is being played!!!!

AFL won’t reveal outcome of review into Chris Scott’s third-party deal with club sponsor

Just because they earn good money does not make them "senior executives". Start listing player salaries and you will start a salary war with disgruntled players wanting more. They are senior and key employees of an organisation.
Their salaries directly impact the direction and potential success of the organisation.
As a member, transparency around key decisions like a player's salary isn't unreasonable.
I'm not 100% for it or against it, TBH I couldn't really give a shit. But it's definitely not outrageous for a club to disclose player's salaries to paying members.
Coaching flags are offering financial advice to clients all at the same time - that's our Scotty!
Want financial security?"Mr Scott I'd like some advice on where to invest my money?"
"Have you tried putting an extra behind the ball"
There is no case that imo has any credible reasons as to why they should be released to the public. Most exec salaries are public.
The reason being that it is considered relevant information to shareholders and/or members.

Lol of course you think thatThere is no case that imo has any credible reasons as to why they should be released to the public.
You dont think players (through their managers) know what each other are on???Just because they earn good money does not make them "senior executives". Start listing player salaries and you will start a salary war with disgruntled players wanting more.
In what professions do all individual salaries get disclosed?
I read somewhere there are about 100 player managers in the AFL. Do you think they share confidential player deals with each other? Even if they did its not out in the public. You dont think players (through their managers) know what each other are on???
Well seeing as 67% of AFL players are managed by the top 6 agencies, and many of these agents move between each agency, I'd imagine everyone within that profession would have a very good idea what players are earning and what their worth should be. So a meeting between an agent and a player would go along the lines of player x is on this much so on your next contract we think we can get you y.I read somewhere there are about 100 player managers in the AFL. Do you think they share confidential player deals with each other? Even if they did its not out in the public.
List a credible reason then.Lol of course you think that
Funnily enough that info is right here https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/how-much-jobseeker-payment-you-can-get?context=51411List a credible reason then.
They're not a government employee on our dime.
Should I be able to demand your name, photo and salary from your job be in the paper or on the airwaves?
