Let’s be honest here - the AFL has absolutely no appetite to invite the ‘negative optics’ that something like a major salary cap scandal brings onto the league.

They value image over integrity and profit (most of all) over true equity.

So it’s very likely anything that doesn’t quite pass the sniff test at Geelong gets the green light and the league pats itself on the back for being so open and transparent.

Even if the above were factual, is there actually any evidence out there, or just baseless stuff about land deals and Cotton On?
