Geelong rorting the system

Blanket statements about guilt are still delusional. So you're being the very thing you were criticising. Just on the opposite side of the coin.
Really? There's not enough evidence out in the public arena, let alone what us general plebs don't know about, to make the dealings at Geelong slightly suspicious? Your club has been suspect of shady deals for 15+ years and now is being "investigated" by the AFL.

Deliver your findings on breaches (when, what), evidence and proposed sentences. Then we can go from there.

"I know they're up to something. They're cheating, we just need the evidence." isn't some water tight analysis. It is just as delusional as "I know for a fact they haven't done anything wrong".

Cheating dogs, time to sanction these bastards.
Agreed. How much property have they secured and "given away" over the last 4 decades!! All those dodgy deals from club sponsors etc. The AFL don't have the balls to go down that rabbit hole. Will just keep continuing. If they didn't go hard for Carlton and Judd, then they never will.

If Caroline Wilson is running with it it's probably complete shite so who cares
Disagree. If it was Sam Mclure or the other dimwit Morris, then I'd tune out. They are happy to run their mouths off and throw darts at the dartboard hoping something sticks. Wilson is a little less careless.

Anyone here who pretends to know for sure is delusional. "I know for a fact they've done something wrong" is as delusional as "I know for a fact they haven't done anything wrong". It's not a surprise that people making the first statement without evidence, leads to people making the second statement without evidence. Welcome to the land of uninformed opinions.
You don't belong here, too much rational, common sense. This thread and others like it exist for floggers to flog. That's all. It should be in the Bay.

I see only this. Players generally seem to change club to get a better contract and more money. Other than in the case of Geelong who miraculously have a long history of players going to the club for less money, or taking a lower contract to keep them under the salary cap.

I just checked the QF teams from last year. Players who changed clubs:

Geelong - 8
Port Adelaide - 10

When are the AFL going to act on the blatant rort at Port?

Chances of success, club reputation, opportunity, geography have of course have never influenced a players decision to move from one club to another. Which is why stars have been lining up to go to cellar dwellers as much as contending clubs over the past 20 years (and further).

JHF went to Port because NM couldn't afford him? Give me a break.

Port are getting investigated last I read. Offering VFL standard guys like big Esava the sort of coin they did must've flagged something on the AFL's end.

JHF was tied to his draft contract when he left Norf. He subsequently got a new contract with us where he got an increased salary.

I didn't say that, you are putting words in my mouth

Sure, I reckon you need to tally what Geelong gave up for those 8. And what are those 8 getting paid compared to what other clubs get players to change clubs for.
Eg does those 8 incl the pick you got along with Bowes?

For me, the sooner the “open secret” rumour about Geelong land deals is rejected, the better.
As it’s not just a usual rumour that dies a natural end. It’s a constant feed.

That was one well polished turd.
A good niche October rort is our turd polishing apparatus.

Weird that Chris Scott was the only coach to publicly declare he took less money after the pandemic cuts to ensure the harmony of the club remain.
From the last reports he's still on a drastically reduced wage.
