Only one other clubs has won 4 flags since 2007 so I'd say recent history looks pretty solid overall.

Are we the worst at winning finals in that time? I’d say 3rd best, is a fair way removed from ‘worst.’

That seems an interesting idea.

We’ve won 24 and lost 19. Not bad for the worst finals team, winning at 56 per cent.

Port Adelaide: 8-10. They win at 44 per cent.
Sydney: 16-17: they win at 48 per cent.
Brisbane: 10-8: they win at 55 per cent
Melbourne: 5-5: they win at 50 per cent
Collingwood: 18-14-1: they win at 54 per cent
WCE: 9-10: they win at 47 per cent
Bulldogs: 11-12: they win at 48 per cent.
GWS: 9-9: they win at 50 per cent.
Fremantle: 6-7. They win at 46 per cent.



That’s just from who I can be f**ked posting but fair to say I think our percentage is a bit higher than Essendon’s and the Suns’ and I’d say we probably have the Roos covered as well wouldn’t you say Blaisee old friend? None of the others break 50 per cent aside from your team and Hawthorn who both are around the 60 per cent mark. Fair to say Hawthorn with a significantly higher sample size. As happens when you aren’t consistently losing elimination finals.

Remember those times when our teachers said we wouldn’t always have calculators in our pockets or information at our fingertips? They didn’t quite get that right, did they. Much like most - well, all - of your posts.

I keep hearing stuff about the farms being a big motivator. To be honest I think it's more the lifestyle geelong offers. Who wouldn't want to live the easy going country lifestyle only being 1 hr from town.
