That team is ridiculous.

Combined the players in that team had around 45 All Australian appearances with the few that didn't reach that level mostly being good players (ie Josh Hunt, David Wojinski, Max Rooke). Add to that it was a really well balanced squad.

No. Rorting the system means you are taking advantage of the system in unethical ways. They aren’t illegal. They are just not acceptable in the spirit of the rules.

Haha, they say that about Richmond's 2017-20 as well. Like they did a Steve Bradbury 3 times in 4 years.

That Geelong side was stacked with talent. Lots of F/S players, some great drafting, genuinely useful 'role players' and 'enforcers' and to be completely honest the overall AFL standard was higher back then with only 16 teams vs the 18 now (and subsequently diluted talent pool).
