Take out Smith's neutral-angering antics (his only real claim to fame) and Geelong don't really have a big name player under 33 years old. Where did it all go wrong? Did the cash run out after Jezza arrived?

Clubs wont share what they dont want to share.
Also, it would be very easy for the clubs to force the rule to be, all clubs get access to the info the SOO coach gets.
The AFL really want this to succeed. They need everyone onboard.

Geelong's qualifying final side from a fortnight ago, the one that comfortably dispatched the reigning premier Brisbane, featured 14 players plucked from football obscurity. Among them were six rookies, three players recruited after the 40th pick in the draft, two delisted free agents, two Irishmen and another collected off the scrapheap at the Trade Period.

It's worth it just to see that RCAB , who sent me a very emotional DM stating they'd blocked me weeks ago, is still following my posts and liking those of people who quote me. At number #11, they are ever so close to joining the list.
