By the hard way I assume you mean being so s**t they get gifted half a team worth of very, very talented players.

It looked like the cats put the cue in the rack when the dees kicked a couple of goals after half time. The dees were brilliant for the whole game. Everything was in their favour…skills, midfield, lucky bounces and ricochets, umpiring. Every time they slipped over they got a free kick, but umpires ultimately irrelevant after half time.

to go now. In the last 3-4 years he has been all in on slow, controlling ball movement. Anyone who has played footy knows that that goes completely against a players natural instincts. We finish top 4 every year because that style works in home and away and protects scores against us. Our star power manages to kick winning scores despite out negative style. But in finals when the pressure ramps up it gets exposed every single year.

Over the last few years we have looked our best when we play with reckless abandon and go fast. We just rarely do it. We have Hawkins, Cameron, Sav and everyone ones favourite whipping boy Rohan forward. If you’ve ever played forward, you’ll know it’s impossible to get a kick if the ball moves slow and it’s crowded.

Henderson, Higgins, kolo, Zuthrie, Constable, Jarvis, Jenkins, Dahlhaus.

Give our young players a game! Play these blokes every week: Simpson, Holmes, Narkle, Clark, Evans and give these blokes more opportunity: Krueger, De Koning, Stevens. They won’t become future Geelong guns if they don’t get played.
