Doggies looking for a Boydless win

We didn't have a great game last week but still got it done after being challenged several times.

Got some injury changes this week and some battled and sore players.

The Skip is back - so far - not sure whom the late changes will be this week.

Need to keep gapping the pack as they will continue to keep coming and we are now the hunted.

Fort has a chance to make an impression in his first game. Must compete and if he can clunk a mark or two it could work out for him.
Chook also back in has the chance to grab another 28.

Send them back the kennel Cats.

Go Catters

Happy to see offer players get opportunities. Danger and Selwood are sore. Happy to rest them. It’s a long season and we have options. If others aren’t %100 then I’m happy to see players on the fringe come in. Our structure and form is good.

Only problem with that is convincing them to take a rest!

Good to see Constable reinstated after a 27 possession 10 mark game last week.
Those are elite numbers, anyway he's in pleased to see.
And Fort's been given a chance.
For someone with a reputation for being bog slow and having no tank he certainly is an accumulator,

Looking at the two teams it should be an easy win today. Cats by 55 points.
You're giving too much credit to the Bulldogs. It won't be as close as that.

Pity no Atkins for Daniel, maybe get the skipper up forward to negate the quarterback. Constable must dominate to retain his position it seems. Let’s see what he has got! Dogs will win plenty of the ball and inside 50 count will be good. Forward efficiency is our game. Should be good.

Very sad to hear about Boyd. It’s quite amazing Boyd achieved so much considering his torment. He’s made a brave decision. Hope he overcomes his issues.

That should be taken into account, even if you're not serious. Their coach was in tears yesterday, Boyd means a lot to that club.

If the Dogs need Boyd to raise to the occasion.. a guy who has played just over 50 games for them , struggled to ever be the main stay and was in their two's and has played zero games this year... it would say a lot about them imo.

Its another test for Geelong .. learning to cope with the expectation of winning is part of becoming a top team. Lose to the Dogs today.. and it would be placed along side a few of the Syd wins when they beat us.. and cost us long term.
