Narkle & Simpson surely already on a plane back home preparing for Sunday's VFL

Feel sorry for Parsons - he was pretty good in the second half last week, so agree with CE that he's likely a late in
Cant say I get the treatment of Parsons.
Was relatively poor v Hawks- stays in.
Played a very good half, influential, v Swans- dropped.
What does that do to a player's confidence and continuity?
Anyway, we will see what transpires.
Interesting no mention Constable again. Is he injured, or on the outer?
Was hoping we'd spare GAJ and SAV the potential trauma of the ground in Perth.

Constable lacks an engine dont play him on the bigger grounds
Parsons was ok but he is 22-28 on the depth chart in reality.
Menegola one more in the 2sfor fitness then in for Atkins and Taylor for a defender and i canlive with that team.

I still can't fully get my head around what's going on this season. The chatter on here isn't changing much from week to week.

Still some who want Henry dropped (as the most replaceable)
Still some who because of his kicking mostly, don't rate Blicavs.
Still some who don't think Bews is best 22.
Still a couple who think Mark O'Connor is the one to make way.
Still some that don't rate Kolo as highly as they should. Solid performer yet again.
Still some who don't rate or want Tuohy.
Still some that don't want Clark in defence due to mistakes.
The only one's to escape scorn in this post bye malaise is Mr Consistent Harry Taylor and Stewart who should again be AA.

Scarlo's misfits are the number 1 defence in the league, concede on average 68 points a game, and have conceded 105 less than the 2nd best defence.
Scarlo's boys are far from an issue and clearly our strongest line.

And how many defenders do you want in the team? They dont all fit.

Parsons only good game (or half of a game) ever and dropped.
Ironic that Parsons gets dropped now after his first good game in about two years.

Played a reasonable second half but was missing in the first half - you can't have players going missing for long periods in finals.
Put a line through him as a starter now we've got the likes of Rohan and Menegola back for selection.

lol what a joke.

Parsons dropped after his best game! why even play the guy in the first place?

of course Bews stays, that spud will be there shanking them out on the full once finals come around

This team looks a bit faster on paper, I like the changes. Freo's forward line looks very average, I'm expecting a +30pts win here.

For what its worth, I think Parson's performance against the Swans (weak opposition) is a little over-hyped on here. He did kick a great goal to win the game, but it wasn't a votes grabbing performance imho.

If we have fast ball movement on the bigger ground over there, then Rohan should kick a few. If its not fast moving, then Lyon's will employ his flooding tactics as per usual.

We don't really need to hammer them. We're 20% beyond the pack now, and we don't need to work ourselves over. Would be pretty funny though, belting Lyon on his home deck. He'd have a fun press conference. :D

A belting is good for confidence which we seem to have been lacking the past 6 weeks, i know we dont need it but it would be nice. The easier we can make the Perth trip the better.
