The form of Slade, Tenace, Prismall and Stokes made it a worthwhile exercise. Not a great deal to come out of it apart from that, except a few quid I imagine.

Desperately need Ottens, Playfair and King into the side. It was like watching our side 3 seasons ago where we'd have ********eloads more ball, yet fail to captialise.

Lonergan did some ok things, but his usually reliable kicking for goal was nowhere to be seen. Should be persevered with for the rest of the Pre-season.

You're not wrong there Jnr! God, and to think i actually used to be a North supporter. I think my brain must have been under-developed back then!
lmfao you insult us yet you probably switch clubs every couple of years...ever heard of loyalty? nup didn't think so. I think your brain development is still lacking. You're in no position to criticize...

Anyway to every one else on this board - it was a strange game to watch but congratulations to the cats, they stepped up at the right time and got over the line. Good game dudes :thumbsu: and I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the year. The result made my parents happy so it's not all bad hehe :)

edit: to the north supporter that said don't complain....you're a farrkin idiot! Both teams got shiithouse decisions all night and they made better use of their opportunities than we did. We lost - end of story.

Cheers all.

Yep, good post. Some good looking players coming through for North. Smith looks the good for sure.

Hey DIP-S-HIT, you dont freaken know ONE thing about me OK? I firstly made that comment tounge in cheek AND IF you MUST know, I "barracked" for North when i was like 6-7 years old for god sake. A couple years later i didnt like football at all (hey i guess the Kangas turned me off it, didnt they?) and then finally i was taken to a certain match, oh G.Ablett kicked 14 goals and that was it. Hmmmmmmmm im entering my 14TH YEAR, (12th as a member) supporting Geelong.. NO I HAVENT HEARD OF LOYALTY.. PLEASE PROVIDE A DEFINITION PLEASE..

Not being a member doesnt mean you dont support your club 100% or that yo are a bandwagoner. Im 16 and have only been a member for 4-5 years (cant remember) as my mum (single parent home) doesnt follow footy (She's English) but i have gone for Geelong all my life as i was brainwashed by friends before i could walk and talk to go for Geelong.

Anyway, pretty scrappy match at times, but still good to get the win on the board and get soem confidence up. If we beat freo/coll it could be a Geel V Melb NAB GF. Now i know i am getting ahead of myself as its still 2 weeks away yet but would we go all out in the GF if it were against Melbourne?

:D I can relate to that! I live just outside Essendon, so all my life i was brainwashed to follow the Bombers. But i resisted!

As for playing Melbourne, thatd be awesome to see. The GF is on my birthday, so it'd be great if we could win it!

Hardly surprising to see another stupid statement from this absolute moron. Just proves he know's as much about football as he does about music. Absolutely nothing!

To think a bloke your age would make a schoolyard comment like that.I think that probably explains a few things more. And don't bring up the music thing, you gave new meaning to the word being owned in the best guitarist thread and by about 3 different people. :(
