Normally a game V Melbourne, I would be all relaxed, but after last years debacle for Enrights 300th, I'm sweating like Luke Hodge approaching a RBT.

Daisy Pearce speaks well... get her in the commentary box. Would rather listen to her than Bruce or Lingy

The opening of this game shows just how much of a difference a great player can make. Won't turn a terrible team into a great side like Garry Ablett at Gold Coast, but for a team that was middle of the table last year has the ability to absolutely change the momentum of games where Geelong may have struggled last year.

Hate that s**t. Get a free paid against you then kick push and knee the awarded player into the ground so they can't quickly get up. No 50. If that isn't more interference than running through the 10 meter protected area...

  • wow great game so far amazing how much more enjoyable it is watching when coaches decide to play footy instead of chess. :thumbsu:

Not once has Gold Coast ever been a great side.

Probably highlight of the round is finding out there is a guy named Tom Ruggles.

Meet Willy Buzza.

Agreed, but the other big factor in the center is finally having rucks that are not complete liabilities in the post ottens era. Smith and Stanley almost as important in our resurgence.

We had the pieces around the rest of the ground (besides the ruck), Danger filled what was a gaping hole in our side (weak midfield which was poor inside).

Hypothetically if Geelong keep the Dees to ~50 points, how much do they have to score to overtake Sydney's percentage?

I think it's like 150 or something, right? Then Sydney could still win, but not by much.
