If Sav's corkie means he needs a week out I'd prefer to see Abbott in rather than Fort. Constable in for Parfitt. Clark will be rested once Tuohy is ready to come back in, which won't be this week.
Z.Smith sounds like he was in the mix perhaps thats a way they could go Vs west coast. The play two genuine rucks and to be honest Sav has not given much forward anyway. With Rohan and Dangerfield good size and agile I think with Stanley resting forward and Hawkins. Taylor snuck forward on VDUBS request last week.

Think if sav is sore you could play Smith this particular week

I don't think I have not been overly negative ..but there is a need to be levelheaded about our performance and our opposition .. one really doesnt know how good you are or they are till a few results get in the can. 6 Weeks in , we are starting to get to the stage where we can frank our performance.
It not negative to say this week is a big test.. its a bit more info on where we really are. Win or lose ... it will affect our rating.
Yeah Collingwood were warming up that's the best win but had a few key players out.

Melbourne win means nothing at the moment and I think adelaide is a better win than it looks although the formline doesnt stack up yet.

Hawthorns form and injuries were pretty questionable coming in still a good tough win.

So this week against West Coast now the season is rolling and everyone starting to get fit and firing will probably be the biggest tactical test. Home ground should help real 50/50 game.

Should win this game comfortably.

The Eagles are playing overly tall, their rucks and inside mids aren't doing very well and their ball movement is too slow.

They would have to change things up a fair bit to be competitive, cos their game doesn't suit a smaller ground. Think they will drop one of the rucks or Oscar Allen.

outs Clark (rested for the Bombers), Parfitt, Sav
ins Tuohy, Abbott, Constable
Confidence cynical I like it

Fort and Abbott both named on extended bench, seems pretty likely that big sav won’t be playing. Hopefully they play Abbott. Love seeing tuohy back, and chook gets another go.
Boys will want to make amends for our last home game, should be a good game!
Possibly. I think we still prefer Savrat. But we're playing wait and see. Then Abbott is the standard first ruck reserve.

I still prefer sav too!! Just think he’ll be given a rest considering we’ve named both fort and Abbott. Who knows maybe Stanley or hawk is under an injury cloud that we don’t know about...

Smith not named on extended bench so unfortunately not. I would have thought it would be an opportunity for him to show he can still be 1st ruck while Stanley plays the Sav role. Stanley's kicking really has improved

Smith screwed as usual. Far better player then abbott and fort
I'd say it suggests that neither Hawkins or Stanley are in doubt:
- if Hawkins missed last week, the club may have deemed Stanley the best prospect at FF, and Smith is seen as next cab off the rank for the #1 ruck spot
- if Stanley missed, then as per above with Smith next cab off the rank to play the #1 ruck spot.

If the tall in doubt this week is Sav, it appears the club is looking at Fort or Abbott to slot into that role - second tall forward & ruck relief, and that's not really a role suited to Smith.

So not sure how Smith exactly has been screwed if the potential available role isn't one he's really suited too
