So you're happy to play at the G next week. What are we arguing about then?
Interstate clubs deserve a home final as they travel much more than Victorian clubs. That travel has an effect on players.

Brunswick St you meanLions v Richmond should be at the junction oval
And yet nobody should have to play at kardinia if they have to?If we have to play a final there we will ,no worries at all.
Brunswick St you mean
that absolutely garbage ground thats shaped more like a potato than an oval Geelong call home should be barred from holding any AFL games let alone finals..It will make a mockery of the competition if the clear competition leader is playing its home final in front of 75 thousand screaming pies fans at the ground the pies play 15 games at each season when the pies finished fourth.
we can not have a repeat of the ridiculous 2017 finals series.
surely the competition has moved beyond the amateurish of playing finals where crowds are highest at the expense of fairness. Other professional sports do not do this.
note the grand final is a little different because there are no home sides in a grand final and the crowds arent heavily biased to mcg tenants due to fans travelling and all the neutral fans. So please dont bring grand final arguments into this thread as its not equivalent.
play the game at either kardinia and if thats not possible (it is) then play at least docklands.
for the sake of the competition.
Confused? How many fans do Geelong have? Why can’t they buy tickets to an MCG game? MCG members are neutral as well. So why are you in such a negative mindset? It will make a mockery of the competition if the clear competition leader is playing its home final in front of 75 thousand screaming pies fans at the ground the pies play 15 games at each season when the pies finished fourth.

The last time there was a final in Geelong the cats lost to freo, who made a mockery of their claim for home finals. I would think Geelong fans would want to avoid further humiliation.
They're not an interstate team yet you compare them to your team which has to fly 2000km every 2nd week. And yet nobody should have to play at kardinia if they have to?
Every Melbourne based team did have their own home ground but they stuffed it up, not Geelongs fault for having good management and making smart decisions.Every Melbourne based team should have their own home ground, why is Geelong so special??
Ahh I've missed the melts

Ahahahahaha, have you told Dimma? I really hope that happens one day, the whinging will be amazing. If we have to play a final there we will ,no worries at all.
Interstate sides have to fly to Melbourne then travel to Geelong to play them. Vic teams don't have to even drive down the highway? They're not an interstate team yet you compare them to your team which has to fly 2000km every 2nd week.
Yes, but how many at the end of day two?Two weeks of this, im predicting a 50 pager.
Yeah, because we keep winning and earn a home final.Every. Single. Year.
Well that's the next argument isn't it? How goods the free hit that the grand final is automatically played at your home ground?Enough, the free hits you get on your runway all year more than compensate for playing on the actual ground the GF will be on.
This is cute. Basically saying "The MCG is a neutral venue on GF day, so don't complain interstaters. But it's not neutral when Geelong get shafted." LOLnote the grand final is a little different because there are no home sides in a grand final and the crowds arent heavily biased to mcg tenants due to fans travelling and all the neutral fans.
