Never look forward to Doggies games as they tend to draw us into an unaccountable style which is incredibly frustrating.

As for changes, i'm tipping only one. Tenace IN, D Johnson OUT.

The club say Ottens will be back but i've heard otherwise. Obviously if ready he'd slide straight in. Same goes for Brenton Sanderson.

What changes would you make?

Sando for DJ
If Ottens is back,Egan could be the stiff player to miss.Milburn would return to defence and H to CHF.

That would allow King and Unco to ruck and leave Ottens at FF.

Garry Davidson on SEN this morning said Otto and Harley to return. S. Johnson to play VFL.

I'm a bit unsure about Harley there though.

Didn't Sando miss the Port game with flu?

He should be right to come back in for DJ if that is the case.

We should win, and win comfortably. But i also see the Doggies games as danger games, lots of talented players that can do just about anything if they all click on their day.

Harles should play in the Magoos- Sando for mine is an automatic inclusion... Who's going to make way for Otto? Chambers would be stiff if he makes way after the game he played on the weekend- best match I've ever seen him play

I would hope not, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of logic in it.

Certainly deserved to retain his spot on form.
When was the VFL game? Sunday?

Maybe he got over it by Sunday but was a bit iffy on Sat. It's a shame though, resting DJ for another week may have been a good idea.

Oh didn't realise he was named in the VFL on the same night... Heh maybe his flu brought him down to VFL level rather than AFL... Very bizarre indeed.

Tenace should come in, hes usually poor in the VFL and ok in seniors but he was really good on Sunday which suggestshes in form. Hed be good to have to break the lines against the Dogs also.

Reported that Steve Johnson and someone else returning from injury would have a run in the reserves

Ottens and Harley might come back but id prefer both went in slowly through the reserves

Sanderson straight back in

Winning by 60 points is frustrating??????????? I would love that sort of frustration when i watch the footy....... I am very worried about what your team will do to us on the weekend. We are undermanned and playing some of the most frustrating terrible footy i can remember. We have a forward line that resembles an attacking midfield, have fun.........

No, seeing our blokes running around kick chasing is frustrating though.

In the past the Doggies have drawn us into such an unaccountable style, a style which is the exact opposite of everything our club now stands for.

Impossibly frustrating.

I do agree with you Phat. But I must say we will spank the living bejebers out of the hapless doggies this weekend. The next couple of weeks we will put away both the Doggies and Essendon on our way to dumping the saints from any kind of finals challenge. IT WILL BE GREAT!

The Cats to have another comfortable win, where the game doesnt reach a high standard. We'll get to our lead ealry then hold the dogs at bay for the rest of the game just like round 6.

Any thought to giving Byrnes a full game in the VFL and re-calling Tenace if Sando is going to come in for DJ?

In round 6 you killed us in the second half after Darce went down.... we were only 8 points down at half time and in front for a period in the second quarter if memory serves?
But yes, if I were a Geelong supporter I'd be dissapointed with a win of under 30 points this weekend.

I don't know if Thompson wants to play around with the team dynamics at the moment, maybe best to just bring in the injured players and keep the changes to a minimum.
