byrnes has struggled for the last couple of weeks- i think turbo has staked his claim for a recall and deserves byrnes' spot this week....
Looks like Ott's is going to miss another week with that 'slight' groin strain....

I'd bring in Sando if he's fit...for DJ. Harley if fit i'd play in the VFL, and Ottens i'd sit out again if he's in any doubt. Tenace for 'Monty' Byrnes is possible too.

Very true. But why is he only ever getting 70 minutes?? Give Turbo another run, see if he can do any better.
Exactly, Id have him on the field on more also, but then you look at his stats. Either give him 80-90% of a game, or drop him. I guess Bomber made his choice

No, seeing our blokes running around kick chasing is frustrating though.

In the past the Doggies have drawn us into such an unaccountable style, a style which is the exact opposite of everything our club now stands for.

Impossibly frustrating.
Very prophetic Phat. Once again, a bloke who has never done anything plays his first (and probably only) good game against us. Sheepdogs that can use the ball kill us again, and the paupers are full of them. All we had to do was play a hard physical game and we'd smash them. But nope, handbags come out and when even a poofter like Eagleton can get a kick against you, you know you've got the skirts on.
Terrible coaching effort today, when even idiot supporters like me know how the opposition is going to play, why wouldn't you plan your game to stop that?
Just a pathetic, embarassing, insipid and above all a soft effort today against an inferior opposition.

I love Geelong but today was a ********ing disgrace. No team that turns in those perfromances should be top four, or even top 8 atm. Last 8 rounds bar last week have been pathetic.

Was very poor on the cats behalf of not staying out on the ground after the game to watch us get the origin cup. No wonder you are getting the new essendon tag of becoming sooky sooky lalas

Was at the game today and could not agree more with you. I have never been more disapointed with a performance from the geelong football club, however as usual, i was one of the last geelong supporters there cheering them off the gorund after and VERY VERY VERY ordinary day.

It gets me so upset to watch the boys try their hearts out and get beatin by a team that is clearly not as talented as the geelong outfit.

The bulldogs clearly deserved to win, however they could do no wrong, everything was going there way and i guess that sumed up Geelong's day. Most Geelong supporters at the ground knew that the signs were there early. Very similar to the Collingwood game. Ordinary and OK in patches.

Very few players can hold their head high. Ablett, Mooney, Milburn, Hunt, Bartel and Ling in patches were good today, whilst Scarlett did'nt give his man an inch as usual. There were just too many passengers and we were just outplayed by a more desperate team on the day. Byrne's speed and explosive skills will be very welcomed back in the side next week, along with Ottens height in the forward line.

With saying that, i have a social club membership for sale. Purchased for $580, will sell for $1 ono.

What are others thoughts? I am heading out to drown my sorrows and have a BIG NIGHT!

GO CATS - We'll be back!

It's not the Cup in which frustrates people. It's decentcy. When you beat us at Skilled earlier in the year, the 'Dogs stayed out there. By you guys walking off the field when you wern't exactly supposed to, it merely makes Geelong's day look even worse.

I, for one, am not upset by it. Geelong should have stayed on the ground, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

In the end, what matters is winning and losing.

And for the record, the team which loses the Grand Final shouldn't have to wait out on the ground. I think that's pretty dumb considering all you'd want to do is head back to the locker room and head on home. They should change that.

You guys just don't learn, do you!

Poor, poor Geelong. Teased again, only to waste another promising year.
You may as well have been a rabble like us. ;)

WE may aswell get as many high draft picks as we can, so when we do make the finals we are not pretenders like your soft$#% team.
