They are the biggest whingers going around, but only one thing will stop all this free kick BS, and thats shuey and co need to start focusing on solely winning the contest with or without the free kick.. What is really killing me is coxy's attitude lately, he doesnt need to be playing for frees the way he is?? 7/10 he will win the ball in the air anyway or draw a free with out throwing his arms around or going to ground.. He has gone from one of the best this year to having a tainted reputation that will stay with him for a long time..
I love him but gee he needs to change...

We will win this game just you wait and see. I'm usually as skeptical as the next guy when we are going shit but I reckon the boys will be hurting after getting smashed of late and it has to turn around sometime. We don't lose these celebration matches, given a few of the more recent ones were against shit sides but I reckon we will be back in form this week and with embley and glass back we will look much better. Lynch to have a big one and glass to dominate that fat girl hawkins!!!!

Nice try from christine scott to bring the umpires into it, maybe he should look at the tactics of his selwood, christensen, stokes, johnson, all go in with the shoulder and get just as many dodgy frees as anyone else.

What we have to do/change is simple, whether or not we can make those changes is a totally different thing. Geelong were playing shit at the start of the year and they were getting smashed in contested possessions, in the last month or two they have been belting teams in contested possession and all of a sudden they are winning games and in good form. West coast were winning the contested footy at the start of the year and were winning games. Recently in our losses we have been getting smashed at the contest. See the link?

To beat Geelong you need to do the same three things you need to do to beat any team no matter who they are, get the hard ball, take your opportunities and shut down their main scoring options. Our defence is still superb when at full strength(we are this week), our rucks will dominate the hit outs and our forward line is serviceable when we get it down there and keep it there. So it all comes back to the middle. Geelong showed last week how you beat any side on any day. We have to be hungry and hunt the ball and the player, attack the ball with intent, tackle with ferocity and block and work for each other into space. Footy is pretty simple, the team that wants the ball more usually wins. It's up to our team to decide if they want to give it a real crack this year or just use the old injury excuse, be happy with what we have already achieved and coast through the rest of the year.

This season isn't done with its just stalled. We still have the cattle to beat any team when we are switched on and playing the way we want to play. The real question is whether our players still have the drive to push towards the finals and a flag this year.

To be honest I don't think that Scott was whinging too much, I mean as much as I hate both of them he pretty much just said how bad Geelong were for free kicks and just highlighted the fact they were the worst and we were the best for "free kicks for"...

On another note, everyone expects Coxy and NicNat to get first hands to the ruck, I think NicNat should just stand back and then rove Geelongs taps, If that's within the rules ofcourse???

But the umpires can say that they are not influenced, but that is horse shit. We have seen it on a number of occasions this year.

Plane Crash is the only way, until we can get our "mojo" back there's going to be some heart ache for all of us sadly. It left us some time ago and could be hard to regain, how ever I think our biggest single problem is chemistry. It seems with certain combinations we just haven't got a hope but in hell of getting the ball out of the middle and into a leading forwards hands. Then on the odd occasion we do it comes out way too easily and over the back into an oppositions naked forward line with not a single defender there defending.
