Watching those highlights- admittedly it was goals only- but we have some talent- JC, Stengle, Dempsey, Holmes, OH, Danger, Close, Mannagh, Miers, Humphries, Stewart, ZGuthrie- that's a very handy dozen players that would rival any other top 12.

Can't believe Sheeds stuck Little Jimmy Hird (1993 was his first real year in the seniors) on Gazza at one stage. What was that n00b gonna achieve?

Remember seeing the stats at the end of the video and the tackle count was something like 17-15 for the entire match. Nowadays you'd probably get that in a quarter.

Hird actually did better then anyone else. Kept him to only 2 goals in the last qtr and one came from a freakish mark no one could stop.

In the 2nd qtr sheedy literally had 3 players on gaza and he still kicked 4 goals for the qtr. pretty sure mark harvey decked him in that qtr too.

I was at that game.
Even moved ends to see gaz in the last Q.

The train ride was brutal bunch of bombers fans on the train.
