How ****ing good are they?! Few things i noticed about tonight...they have a shitload of players around the fall of the ball...no matter where they are. And they love to share it around in the fwd 50....seems like its a sin for there forwards to kick a goal...they have to share it! i really cant understand how they do it tho! how do they have so many free players in the defensive 50, yet seem to have the same amount free when they attack 30 seconds later?! the mind boggles!

Also factor in that they had Ablett,Ling, Milburn,Wojinski and lost Chapman through the game,they can only get better..Quite scary actualy!

wtf dude? a HELL OF A LOT has changed in 13 years man! as someone else said there was no ablett, milburn or ling tonight...3 HUGE, BIG GAME players and yet they somehow found a way to win, against the supposed 2nd best team in the league. A wad of cash and two georgous workin girls for the Geelong boys if they pull it off again this year!

And still grooming blokes to fill Egan and Nathan Ablett's spots - Gamble and Taylor fair replacements at this stage! How did Taylor not get drafted until he was 21yo?

lol, nah, no angry pills man, just cant be bothered formulating arguments tonight. geelong are ridicuously good - we all know it. i really wish hawthorn had of knocked them off tonight, would have really made the rest of the year interesting. Ah well, how far Geelong in my eyes. Don't think anyone else really has a chance!

The most fundamental aspect of the game IMHO... well maybe apart from kicking the bloody ball through the big sticks...

In all fairness though, how good are Hawthorn? They won the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters, and I think they were hard done by in the opening quarter... I seriously don't know the rules of football anymore... Yeah, yeah, blame the umpires... I know that what you're all saying, but bloody hell, I'm not sure if they were watching the same game as me.

For the record, I am sick to death of these Geelong bandwagoners, I had never seen a Geelong sticker on a car / toolbox or a Geelong shirt or hat on a person walking around the shops until this year. You know who you are, and you are as weak as piss, up yours, the lot of you!

Turnovers will kill you..........and Hodge choked and became the turnover King (I wonder if Willimas gave him "The gesture" as they went into the rooms after the game.)

The lesson is, you need to have players in almost every position who use the ball well and make good decisions........even Blake hit his targets and the right targets.

The Cats also make sure they get the ball to guys who use it well were it counts.

Carrazzo and Bentick, firstly wouldn't get a game, but if they did, would NOT be allowed to kick the ball inside 50 or to a contest. Period. They would have someone running past to off load, much like they do with Harley.

Last week I saw BEntick run past the mark on half back, and take the handpass twice only to butcher the ball. The sad thing is, one of those times he took it in front of Judd who was about to run onto the handball.

That's the difference.

Could not agree with you more!!!
Judd is one of the best users of the ball in the game and Fev is the best kick for goal in the game and yet so often i have seen players take marks that are going straight to them or intercept passes as they are running through....
Our kids have to realise who they are playing with, learn how to get the most out of our team and give the ball off to them so that we make the most out of our possessions.
