Just curious how this works for any Geelong player living in Melbourne and commuting, or vice versa for those Melbourne based players commuting from Geelong? Do they get rewarded/ penalised accordingly? Maybe the AFL could stipulate exactly where each player from each club is allowed to buy their groceries, to make it super fair

I'm also led to believe house prices and rent is higher in Hawthorn than Footscray, which makes the Hawks' recent threepeat even more remarkable.
