I, like many others have been saying this for a few years now, When will the club clean out the DEADWOOD????

Surely they must get rid of the likes of Corrigan, McKay, O'Brien, Simpson, Lowther, Baldwin, Mensch and J.Mooney.

It appears that Sholl and McGrath will retire at the end of next season, or be told they are no longer wanted. And the likes of Wocjinski, Rahilly, Houlihan, Kilpatrick, Street and even Riccardi might be on their last chance

Since once again we have failed dismally to attract a decent forward, attention must turn to building kids into our stars.

We've got a plethora of decent kids, Spriggs, Clarke, Ling, Enright, Chapman, Scarlett, Foster, Hunt, Bray and Corey. We need however at least another 6 or 7 from the draft.

From there on we have have to build the side in 3 divisions of 6. A backline revolving around Scarlett, the midfield revolving around King and a froward line revolving around ..... (Of the current list, C.Mooney or Ling look the best bet, both are young and strong).

Then it is just a simple case of filling in the gaps.

Back - Scarlett, Harley, Sanderson........
Centre - King, Spriggs, Clarke, Hunt, Milburn........
Forward - Ling, Mooney, Burns..........

We need about 6 regular senior players, and the rest should fight the remaining spots.

What confuses Olmy is his constant struggle to stay in touch with reality. It's quite sad for the kid that he would want to take credit for someone else's postings - it doesn't say much for his self-esteem.

I think we should all be supportive of Olmy in this time of hardship.

And for the record the Fitzroy enthusiast who goes by the name of Olmy, does NOT post under the name of Red Rover , though I'm sure he wishes he does.
