They all forget about the factors that lead to us being perceived as "arrogant", and instead, just mindlessly accuse us of being so, without thinking that it is that kind of attitude that leads to us "defending" ourselves, and our club.
Essenscum this.....Essenscum that....Hird's a ****ta.....Hardwick's a moron.....we're all arrogant.....we're s_hit......we pay off the umps......Sheedy's an idiot......etc etc.....
What the hell do they expect? Would they prefer if we just bent over and copped what ever it is they want to give us? Sorry, not gonna happen.
Usually, i ignore them, but not this time.
And the reason - the thing that p_issed me off this time - is that in my opinion, i believe we have the most understanding, and most knowledgeable group of supporters on BigFooty.
Dippers Donuts called us arrogant purely for popularity, and nothing else. If he'd had a mind of his own, he wouldn't have called us that.
But, what else should we expect from somebody named "Dippers Donuts".....

ER no...you don't.....North Melbourne's fans are the most understanding and knowledgeable. Still, there's no shame in running second to us though.

Great call Walshy. Lets just all have a little spell. I have a whole heap of reserved energy to burn. Just have to allow the team to do the talking first. But Sandie...geez i hope it all doesn't fall on deaf ears! Although i'm sure i won't.
Don't know what i would feel if we won the flag this season. Would i once again feel relief...or would i feel uncontrolable joy. I really do think that it would be the latter.
Having said that...there is still a long way to go...and much business to be done.

Cast members
Bass drum: Dave (the heartbeat of the bandwagon)
Fiddle: Dan 25 (prolific, but misses key notes and plays the same thing over and over again)
Second fiddle: Same Olds (has been playing second fiddle to Dan25 for a while now)
Trumpet: windyhill (Essendon wins - windyhill trumpets it all week)
Horn: Mantis (um, let's not go there ...)
Triangle: 1AD (chimes in occasionally, but that's about it)
Bagpipes: Easty (everyone hates the bagpipes)
Violin: topdon (criticise Hird ... hear the violins)
Wind section: red + black (more than enough wind here for an entire section)
American blues guitar: Stealth Bomber (obligatory import)
Double Bass: gPhonque (low)
Flute: Big Al (been around 5 minutes - just like most Essendon supporters)
Cymbals: M29 (mmm ... subtle!)
Harp: Walshy1993 (what is he harping on about this week?)
